You shouldn't be applying the same attitude to the chair, instead you should figure out the acceleration vector the plane is experiencing and maneuver the chair so the pilot feels the same acceleration vector.

did you do tilt according to the planes angle or measured gforce? if you dont do a relative gforce tilt i can quite easily get motion sickness

Is it possible to have the camera mounted on a 2 axis gimbal which lets it turn with the fpv goggles? just like how it is in real planes, first person and VR as well?

With the GPS you should be able to have your ground-speed added to the FPV display to minimize low speed stalls.

Put some trackers on the head display and forward the heads rotation to the camera on the plane and also try to forward the speed, angle and height from ground in to the headset. I think that would help them fly the plane easier.

This chair setup but with video games would be killer. DCS would be the best one I bet.

does this only translate 3DOF position data into chair position or does it calculate in the acceleration (Tilt the chair backwards to simulate G forces from acceleration) and washout algorithm like a real flightsim?

sorry for all the comments like my 3rd time rewatching

try running a 7.4 lipo on 2 1806 2300 kv motors the same props should work but would try a 2 blade or dedicated 3 blade plane prop .... and even tho you have 2 counter rotating props because they are at the extremes of the pitch angles its still causing torque on the half thats able to move more air. also when you throttle up its causes horrible false vacuum over the main portions of your wing and rear control surfaces rendering them damn near useless untill they them selves are at full throw by then your dealing with p.i.o and with hand launches that results in a crash reynolds law is a bitch so you may need to increase the size of the front prop to fix this while leaving the rear the same.

Many years ago there was an arcade flight sim machine that gave you 360 degrees of roll and pitch control called Sega R360 (look it up here on YT) - I loved that machine even though it only had a low res CRT screen in front of you. Your next challenge is to recreate that machine and FPV a 3D plane with head tracking
